Virgin Media has announced the next 30 locations that will receive so-called 'ultra-fast' fibre broadband as part of its Project Lightning scheme. They include Grimethorpe in South Yorkshire, Wargrave
in Berkshire and Llanharry in Rhondda. Virgin says that
by spring 2017 households in those areas will benefit from speeds of 200Mbps, and businesses 300Mbps.
